Social Committee News

posted 30 Apr 2016, 13:07 by All Saints' Highfield   [ updated 5 Feb 2017, 09:46 ]
The event on 12th June will reflect our appreciation of the steadfast service which Her Majesty the Queen has show over her ninety years.  All Saints' has joined with Highfield and New Headington Residents' Associations to organise a programme of events throughout the day. Full details will appear in the magazine for June.  The Social Committee will be organising teas in the Church during the afternoon; we hope to use our new servery for the first time.  It is planned to have tabels and chairs in the Church Garden so that people can enjoy their teas in lovely surroundings.  If the weather is bad, the Church will be used.

This important event, so close to the Vicar's 90th Birthday, does mean that the Social Committee will need extra help from members of the congregation.  Forms outlining the help needed for the 12th June will be circulated shortly and I would be most grateful if you could take the trouble to complete them and return them to me at your earliest convenience.
