We were honoured on Sunday 18th September by the visit of the Rt. Rev. Colin Fletcher, Bishop of Dorchester, as preacher and celebrant at the 10am service.  During the service, the new facilities at the West End of the church were blessed and dedicated to further the mission of the church.
We have been fortunate to have the services of Simon Shew, architect, and Frank McKenna, main contractor, who have designed and created a kitchen servery in the south west corner of the nave.

They have also turned the south west porch into an up-to-date toilet with facilities for both the disabled and for children, and created a small corner for children’s work in the north west of the nave, not to mention new shelves for our modest library.  We are grateful to James Larminie for his assistance in getting rid of the old shelving units.
After the service, refreshments were served from the new servery facility.
