Martin Hall - organ recital
Martin was Director of Music at All Saints’ whilst completing his degree from New College in 1979/80. Prior to this he had studied at the Royal Academy where he was a prize-winner and gained the Fellowship and Choir training diplomas of the Royal College of Organists.

After a year as Assistant Director of Music and Organist at Bloxham School he moved to Truro as Director of Music at the Cathedral School. He returned to the Southeast on becoming Director of Music at  Reigate College

Returning to New College for a year in 2005 he worked as research assistant to his old tutor Edward Higginbottom and conducted the famous choir for an evensong. He was Director of Music at Dorking parish church until 2017. Recent recitals have included those at Truro Cathedral, St. Marys Warwick and St. Stephens Walbrook. 

Martin lives in his dream house on Reigate Heath with his wife Angela. They have two sons and a daughter, two cats and three cheeky granddaughters.

  • Vaughan Williams:
  • Rhosymedre; 
  • Howells: Psalm Prelude Set 1 No 1;
  • Franck: Choral 3 in A minor
